Congratulations Nabomita on this report, which I just found by chance while surfing on the web. Just a month after I returned from Dar and Selfina's offices, it filled me again with the sights, songs and perfumes of Tanzania, and with the sense of Selfina's impact on local communities.
Thank you for the time that you dedicate to Selfina and for sharing the power of micro-finance. I wish you a continued great time there.
Please give my regards to Claude and the rest of the Selfina team.

Hi Rini,

It was such thrill to read your report - so vivid and touching. I felt I was there.

You have made us all so proud of you. When the world is crumbling under greed, your work is a lesson to all of us. I am so happy that you are making a difference. My best wishes in all your pursuits. I will ask Akash to check out your blog. Do keep posting.

Lots of love

Rini
First of all CONGRATULATIONS on a bold decision. It's heartening to know from your sample of one that the microfinance concept works and that the success rate is significantly higher in targeted lending to women.
I would be interested in knowing how a force multiplier can be generated to spread the positive outcomes to larger sections of society in the quickest possible time.
Best Wishes

Thank you, Nabomita - we all need to be humbled daily and your words made me stop and count the rooms in my home. Thank you for bringing to my home the necessary reminder to continue helping people through Kiva. Jan
