Excellent post, Josh! Good insight about trust, too. Our whole society is founded upon it, not just our economy. Every time someone acts to damage people's trust, it tears down our society just a little bit, too. The only difference between a prosperous safe society and total anarchy and war of all against all, similar to what happened in Rwanda and more recently in Kenya, is that trust. Some people call it faith. It's been left out of the equation in various analyses too often, I think. I think we need to come up with many more ideas for how to build it in times and places where it's lacking.
