With respect I would like to inform you that, Integrated Village Development Society (IVDS), established in 1994, is a non government, on political and non profit development organization mandated to promote rights of disabled people, rights of disadvantaged child, gender equality, human rights and to foster personal  powerment of people with disabilities. The organization aims to mobilize people with disabilities, disadvantaged working children, women and beneficiaries. Addressing person with disabilities and women related issues and economic empowerment in development. IVDS main intervention strategy is to direct service
Delivery to the disadvantaged people and influence government policy through advocacy, lobbying and networking between and among the government organization, NGOs, private sectors, Donors and specially disabled and women groups. Since its inception IVDS has been implementing the following core program components:
 
•Gender Base Women and child Development  program
•Special Education For Hearing Impaired , Low Vision and Blind 
         children
•Livelihood Development  For Working  and  Street Children
•Primary Mother and Child Health care Services
•Awareness raising Prevention  on STD /STI –Aids and Addicts .  
•Disability in Development
•Sustainable Human friendly  environment Development 
• Organic agriculture and Fish  Framing 
•Non Formal primary and adult education program
•Safe Water &amp;  Sanitation and Arsenic Mitigation
•Income generation activities
•Legal Aid and Human and Child Rights program
•Emergency Relief &amp; Disaster management 
 
IVDS has building partnership with National organizations, national and private bank, like BRAC, PROSHIKA, NGO FORUM for drinking water and sanitation, Credit Development Forum (CDF), Center for Disability in  Development (CDD), Jatiya Pratibandhi Foundation (Govt.), Bangladesh Bank, Janata Bank,  Basic Bank etc and donor Organization STICHTING Liliana Fonds &amp; Dark and Light Blind Care Netherlands, ADB ,UCEP-BD  and UNICEF Bd with a small grant.
 
 Due to lake of technical knowledge and financial inability In this moment IVDS is not in a position to giving financial and technical support to help the Disadvantage Women ,children ,disabled , minority and aged people  for alleviate the poverty. In this situation as a rights based and gender responsive organization, IVDS is showing high level of  interest to develop partnership with Your organization for technical and financial support for economic and social empowerment of the rural beneficiaries.

		<description>Thanks Jenny.  In this picture you have painted for us, the whole atmosphere reminds me of a mother bringing up children by being consistent with the rules.  It&#039;s quite possible that the women were resigned to the outcome because they are mothers themselves.  It must have been so difficult for this group of women to be disappointed by one of their own.  
The role of a loan officer sounds like such a demanding job and you showed us how Mara tried her best to help within the confines of that job.    And it must have been difficult for you, watching them leave, knowing that they had counted on this money to carry them through the next 3 months.  Your words will make me count my own blessings, once again.  Thank you, Jan</description>
