I love hearing these stories, seeing these pictures of life in places so far removed from my experience. Thanks for your words and pictures. Thanks for posting this.

Dude.

Followed some bread crumbs and found you here. Glad to see you abroad and writing. Glad to see you searching for sari. And glad to see you unsatisfied with that day.

I felt that distance in some form every time I hung with the microentrepreneurs in central China. And it's a bummer to see the stories waiting there untold. I guess probably the best we can do is keep going back, keep smiling, and keep opening ourselves, telling our stories.

Maybe see if he'll take you fishing someday. Ask him to teach you.

Anyway, again, I'm glad you're out of the basement and doing what you're doing. And I'll be tuned in and reading whenever you post.

Peace. Love.

Thanks for all your effort. We try so very hard to put ourselves in another's shoes but sometimes the very differences in our cultures keeps us apart. The way you present the facts in your story, allows us to imagine the difficulties these people have overcome in their lives. Being able to see the results that a small loan can make is a blessing. Thanks for sharing.

Lander,
A wonderful account of the connection you made with these fascinating people and the hardships they've endured. You've set the high-water mark for citizen journalism that the rest of us will undoubtedly struggle to fall short of.
