Regarding the visit idea: From a personal viewpoint I'd love to meet many of the borrowers from Kiva (whether I had personally been a lender to them or not). From a practical viewpoint even if it were to become possible I would never even consider it since I feel it would be as intrusive as "interviewing" a fireman during a fire and saying "How's the fire going?" Maybe I'll be lucky and chance-meet a borrower some time in the future and find that that person (now well out of poverty is himself or herself) is now (then) a Kiva lender. Great blog – thanx!
