Was looking into investing in Emprender, but they don't appear to have their own website, and although it says Emprender is a non-profit, they are charging folks upwards of 40% interest on loans. Are they legitimately non-profit? Will I be helping someone get ahead with this loan, or will I only be helping someone who is in a desperate situation only to stay above the water while paying a nicer wage to the "loan officer"?

Hey Jaime, what a fantastic trip you have in the Philppines. I learned a lot from you about Kiva and the partnership you have with our organization. We are so blessed and grateful to have you and the rest of the Kiva team around supporting us about our campaign to help poor families and communities experience the fullness of life. Your work and your travels inspired me and widened my outlook about giving help and assistance through the provision of the fit and appropriate microfinance services. I wish you all the best and i hope you will enjoy your stay here in the Philippines. I hope to see you again soon because I want to learn more. More success to you and to the partnership
